Dr. Leveille’s academic journey began at Stanford University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Biomechanical Engineering and Human Biology. She then returned home to Vancouver to pursue her medical training and orthopaedics residency at the University of British Columbia. She went on to complete her paediatric orthopaedic fellowship at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas before joining BC Children’s Hospital in 2015 as a staff paediatric orthopaedic surgeon. Her clinical practice focuses on paediatric sports medicine, acute knee injuries, gait analysis and orthopaedic management of neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Leveille is also the Medical Director of the Shriners Gait Lab at the Sunnyhill Health Centre, and has been a Clinical Assistant Professor with the UBC Department of Orthopaedics since 2015.
